Hey everyone...

Just writing this because of some recent happening with this member MsSimple, and yes I will name and shame as they're acting proud when people make nice comments about their work even after being confronted about ripping it.

She's actually taken the piece in question down, but here's another using the exact same sig as a background mssimple.deviantart.com/art/Gl… They've taken a smudge sig done by a member, who I consider one of the better smudgers in the sig community, and basically just stuck a render on top and changed the colours.
Here's the proof from the previous sig:


And this isn't the only sig in MsSimple's gallery that's ripped either, there's even another that's used the same one as above...

Now normally I'd just let the original artist know and leave it at that, but after getting blocked my the member for confronting them about this, just for them to continue to act like it was actually their work. And the fact that the original artist has actually decided not   to post work on dA any more because of this sort of thing, I thought it was time to name and shame.

So yeah, MsSimple is a ripper. Please don't praise her as it'll probably just encourage more of this sort of thing.

I'm here just to give you all an update on the new GFX site, Platinum Graphics platinum-graphics.com/site/

It was recently the sites 1 Month Anniversary And we also hit 100 members. So those were 2 nice milestones for us.

So, here's some more bits of information for you:

We now have a total of 130 members, and that number is rising everyday.

5,500+ Posts on the Forum, so it's pretty active with plenty of people posting work, and replying to others' too.

Plenty of Battles/Competitions going on. We've got your Signature of the Week (as well as a Beginners one), a 1vs1 arena, we've started our Design of the Month too - for October it's designing a Horror Movie poster which is pretty damn cool, and we now have a Tutorial of the Month.

We have a large variety of Resources on site. From Renders and C4D's, to Brushes and Textures.

And most importantly, in my opinion, we have a friendly and supportive community.

There's other stuff too, but I don't want to keep you on my Journal for much longer
